The Ride
This year’s ride is scheduled for July 11, 2010. It promises to be another Sunday full of adventure and fun for all involved. Over the years, people who have attended this ride all leave and come back saying the same thing, “… We’ve never been to ride that is this organized, this well thought-out and this much fun.”
Join us at Hall’s Harley Davidson in Springfield on Sunday, July 11, 2010 as we prepare for an afternoon of great riding. Registration opens at 10:00 and Hall’s will be open for business until 12:00 noon. Registration closes at 11:50. The ride is scheduled to depart promptly at 12:00 noon. The journey begins by going East on Route 54 to Illinois 121. The first stop will be in Warrensburg at Da Burgs Bar and Grill. From Warrensburg, the ride continues to Decatur’s Pop’s Place on Wyckles Road where riders and participants will be able to enjoy a buffet luncheon. After a brief stop, the ride turns back to the West to the infamous Buckhart Tavern. Finally, it’s through Rochester to the south edge of Springfield; Mowie’s Cue. The last piece of the ride sends everyone back to Springfield for the wind-down party at The Doghouse (formerly Donny B’s Breaktime Entertainment) where music will be provided again this year by The Mr. Wizard Band of St. Louis.
